Project Vault

Project Vault is the Steam for your coding projects, one desktop library for all your local repositories.

  • TypeScript 56.5%
  • Rust 43.5%

Project Vault is like Steam, but for your projects: a desktop app that gathers all your coding repositories into one tidy library. Instead of digging through folders to find that one repository, you import your projects once and get a browsable collection with search, filters, and favorites. It is the way Steam organizes your games, just for your own work.

Once a project is in your vault, the everyday work happens in one window. You can browse files with readable, color coded code, check what has changed and sync with Git, bump versions, read the README, or open a terminal right inside the app. If your projects live on GitHub, you can link them and keep an eye on issues from the same place.

It also gives you a sense of the bigger picture: how big each project is, which languages it uses, and when you last touched it. There is even a monitor for anything running in the background. Everything stays on your machine, in English or German, so your projects remain yours while becoming much easier to find and manage.
